Out painting today 2…

Out painting today 2… After having finished my watercolor of the haystack today, I painted my second version of the Almond blossom orchard, today basking in sun and with a beautiful clear blue sky… The lovely lady who owns the property (Frederica Parretti) stopped by and said that her grandmother would have been so happy if she had seen this… A beautiful compliment… I said in turn: she is probably here… Federica agreed.

Out painting today 1…

Out painting today… So, today I went out to do an oil painting in the garden of the almond trees in blossom (the same subject as I have painted yesterday…), and when I arrived on the same spot (which was now basking in sunlight), I noticed something in the corner of my eye that really deserved a watercolor. So I walked back to get my materials and made a watercolor…

Spring blossom… 70x90cm.
