Out painting today…

Out painting today… Although it was freezing (and I didn’t think I’d like the cold untill today), I was inspired by a painting of Vincent van Gogh that I saw on Facebook this morning that he had made in the same cold. The painting depicted a frozen over field. After seeing that I picked up my brushes and canvas and ventured out into the cold anyway… And what a great day it turned out to be… I had a great walk, wasn’t really cold at all… Was inspired by the simplest creek with the most dazzling of colors… Met all sorts of interesting people and even met a few people that I know along the way… And above all, I made a painting that I enjoy looking at very much! Just came back home feeling invigorated! Now, cup of tea! 😊

Ice…

Giving ice scratching a whole new meaning early this morning! Then when I was finished I realized my lock was frozen! 😂 But although it was cold, I was wrapped up tight and the sun was shining. It took me less then a second to decide that I would walk to the forest today, and it was great! 😊

Out painting today…

Out painting today… The last couple of days have been very grey and rainy… Today as I was sitting on the sofa I noticed how the weather was clearing up, giving way to a beautiful sunny day… I got my stuff together and cycled to the forest lake… Just I was finishing up, I started to notice a few raindrops, 5 seconds later it was pouring! I quickly packed up and cycled back through the forest… And although I was soaking wet, it felt great! Painting in rain or stormy weather always does that for me! 😊
